Checkout the Pictures Beyonce Knowles made a surprise visit at a Walmart store in Tewksbury, Mass., on Friday, Dec. 20. The 32-year-old singer surprised her fans by visiting the Walmart store at around 7:00 p.m. She was seen using a cart to buy things including a hard copy of her latest self-titled record‘Beyonce.’The songstress appeared in an aqua color mini-skirt, top and leather jacket while gifting a $50 gift card to each and every person at the Tewksbury store, totaling $37,500 for 720 shoppers.
Beyonce’s surprise visit came a day after Target Stores which has been considered as one of the top retailers like its competitor Walmart, refused to sell Beyonce’s self-titled visual album ‘Beyoncé’because she made the first release of her album on iTunes.
“At Target we focus on offering our guests a wide assortment of physical CDs, and when a new album is available digitally before it is available physically, it impacts demand and sales projections,”Target Stores spokes woman Erica Julkowski told Billboard.”At this time, Target will not be carrying Beyoncé’s new self-titled album ‘Beyonce,”she added.
