The Seoul Central District Court found it guilty for three Korean celebrities because of gambling online illegally.
Entertainer Boom, singer Andy of boy band Shinhwa, and comedian Yang Sehyung were ordered by the court to pay fines based on the amount of money they gambled.
Boom and Andy were fined 5 million won each (about $4,800) while Yang Se-hyung will pay 3 million won ($ 2,900).
Officials said that the three celebrities betted more than 20 million won, turning out for Andy to gamble 44 million won ($42,000), 33 million won ($31,600) was spent by Boom, and 26 million won ($23,400) for Yang Se-hyung.
The three were part of a group of six Korean celebrities investigated for the crime.
Former H.O.T. member Tony Ahn, comedian Lee Su Geun and actor Tak Jae-hoon were not exempted and had faced their trials last December 6.
It was recalled that Lee Su Geun admitted his involvement in illegal gambling, which he ought to step down in his TV show “1 Night, 2 Days” because of the case.
